Business
Anything You Want
Derek wrote a book about his experience running his business CDBaby. This book shows an unconventional way of creating a business. He was customer-driven and more loyal to his customers than to making money. That gave him an edge on how to create value thinking from an angle that a normal business person wouldn’t be able to.
His formula was to give away for free things that he already built for himself (by-products). If the freebie would cost him and many people wanted it, then he would start charging a small fee for it. That’s how he ended up building several successful business. It is like the freemium model. For example he built CDBaby, an online store, to sell his indie music. Then his friends wanted also to sell their music, so he charged a small fee. That turned into a multi-million dollar business.

M.C. Escher drawings
Escher was a dutch artist who drew mathematical shapes and patterns. His style trend matches the one from the German Dürer.
I used to doodle so much inspired by Escher and Dürer. Here is an example although not mathematical.
